Zimbabwe like other 35 low-and lower- middle- income countries stand to benefit from the Global Financing Facility (GFF) an innovative approach to financing that sees countries significantly increase investment in the health of their own people.
The Global Financing Facility (GFF) is a multi-donor trust fund whose vision is “To support countries to end preventable deaths of women, children and adolescents and make progress towards Universal Health Coverage by 2030. The GFF Trust Fund donors include Canada, Denmark, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, the United Kingdom, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Susan T. Buffet foundation, Laerdal Global Health and MSD for mothers.
The Global Financing Facility is a country led partnership in achieving the government’s aspirations as it progresses towards Universal Health Coverage and Attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals.
